2. University of Twente Scholarship
The University of Twente Scholarship (UTS) is a merit-based scholarship offered to excellent international students from both EU/EEA and non-EU/EEA countries who are applying for a Master’s program at the University of Twente in the Netherlands.
The UTS scholarship ranges from €3,000 to €22,000 for one year, depending on the student’s academic excellence and/or professional background. This scholarship is a cash grant scholarship, intended to help you cover the costs of your studies, you are free to decide how to use the money.
Eligibility for the scholarship;
- Have a strong academic record
- Be enrolled in a Master’s program at the University of Twente
- Demonstrate financial needs
- You have been admitted to one of the qualifying UT Master programs starting in the academic year 2024/2025 (September).
- You must have a student number.
- You have not graduated from a UT (under)graduate program
- You comply with the conditions for obtaining an entry visa in the Netherlands (if applicable)
- You comply with the general English language test requirement Academic IELTS 6.5 (or TOEFL iBT of 90) and an additional 6.0 (TOEFL iBT 20) on the sub-score of speaking skills.
- You are not eligible for a Dutch study loan;

3. The University of Southern Denmark
The University of Southern Denmark offers the Danish Government Scholarship – supported by the Ministry of Higher Education and Science, to qualified students. The scholarship consists of two parts: a full tuition fee waiver and a grant, to help cover living costs amounting to DKK 3000 per month before taxes.
Eligibility for this scholarship;
- To be eligible for the scholarship, you must be a non-EU/EEA citizen enrolling in one of the following Master’s programs in Sønderborg that starts in September:
- MSc in Engineering – Mechatronics – both profiles
- MSc in Engineering – Electronics (Sønderborg)
The scholarships will be awarded to the best qualified of the eligible applicants. All eligible applicants who are offered a study place will automatically be considered for the scholarship. No separate application is needed.
The Faculty of Engineering has the possibility to award highly qualified applicants to other programs in Sønderborg for a scholarship as well.
